Who we are

Claxio AI Consulting LLC ("Claxio AI," "we," "our," or "us") is a Georgia limited liability company providing artificial intelligence, automation, software, and technology consulting services. Questions regarding this Privacy Policy may be directed to privacy@claxioai.com.

Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, protect, and retain personal information collected through our website. Information received while performing client engagements is governed primarily by our client agreements.

Information we collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, company, email address, telephone number, and information submitted through contact forms, emails, or scheduling requests. We also collect limited technical information including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and request metadata needed to operate and secure the website.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule meetings, provide consulting services, communicate with clients, secure and improve the website, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate business operations. We process information where necessary to perform a contract, comply with law, pursue legitimate business interests, or with consent where required. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies

We use only cookies and similar technologies necessary for website functionality, security, and performance. We do not use advertising, cross-site behavioral tracking, or interest-based targeting cookies, and we do not sell or share data for behavioral advertising.

Third-party service providers

We use trusted providers including Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, SSL, WAF, DDoS protection, caching, and infrastructure), Calendly (meeting scheduling), Microsoft 365 (email and business communications), and GitHub (software development and deployment). We share information with these providers only as needed for them to perform their function, and we do not otherwise share your information with third parties except when required by law or to protect our rights. This website may link to third-party sites and services, including but not limited to those listed above. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties, and their handling of your information is governed by their own policies.

Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare, Inc. to provide website hosting, content delivery network (CDN) services, Domain Name System (DNS) services, website performance optimization, caching, and security protections, including distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) mitigation, firewall services, and bot detection. When you access our website, Cloudflare may automatically process technical information necessary to deliver, secure, and optimize the website. This information may include IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device information, date and time of requests, requested URLs, HTTP headers, referring website, TLS/SSL connection information, approximate geographic location derived from the IP address, and diagnostic and network performance information. Cloudflare may also place cookies or similar technologies on your device that are necessary for website security, fraud prevention, load balancing, or maintaining secure sessions. These cookies are generally considered strictly necessary for operation of the website. We use Cloudflare solely as a service provider to operate, secure, and improve the performance of our website. Cloudflare processes personal information on our behalf in accordance with applicable law and its privacy commitments. Because Cloudflare operates a global network, personal information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required by law, appropriate safeguards are implemented to protect personal information transferred internationally.

GitHub

We use GitHub, Inc. for source code management and our software deployment pipeline. GitHub stores the code that powers this website and runs the automated process that publishes updates to it. GitHub does not host the website for visitors and does not process information about people who browse the site; visitor traffic is served and secured by Cloudflare, as described above. Information we place in GitHub is processed by GitHub in accordance with its Privacy Statement and is not used by us for marketing purposes.

Calendly

We offer online appointment scheduling through Calendly, a third-party scheduling platform. When you schedule a meeting through Calendly, you may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, company name, telephone number (if requested), meeting preferences, and information you voluntarily provide in meeting notes or a questionnaire. This information is used solely to schedule and manage appointments, communicate regarding your meetings, provide requested consulting services, maintain records of customer communication, and improve our customer service. Calendly processes this information on our behalf in accordance with its own Privacy Notice and applicable data protection laws.

AI-assisted services

We may use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, documentation, software development, workflow automation, and analysis. Appropriate human oversight is maintained where appropriate. We do not intentionally use confidential client information to train publicly available AI models without client authorization.

Client confidentiality

Client information is treated as confidential and protected using reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards.

Enterprise client privacy & confidentiality

When providing consulting services, Claxio AI may receive access to confidential business information, access to accounts, systems, proprietary materials, software, documentation, technical data, or other information belonging to clients ("Client Information"). We use Client Information solely for the purpose of providing the services requested by the client and in accordance with the applicable service agreement.

Claxio AI treats Client Information as confidential and implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect it against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to Client Information is limited to personnel or authorized contractors who require such access to perform the requested services and who are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Where artificial intelligence tools are used to assist in providing consulting services, Claxio AI applies appropriate human oversight where appropriate and seeks to minimize the amount of client information processed by such tools. Unless a client expressly authorizes otherwise in writing, Claxio AI does not intentionally use confidential Client Information to train publicly available artificial intelligence models.

Any Client Information processed on behalf of a client remains subject to the confidentiality, data protection, and information security obligations contained in the applicable services agreement, statement of work, nondisclosure agreement, or other written agreement between Claxio AI and the client. In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and a client agreement regarding Client Information, the client agreement will govern. Claxio AI does not claim ownership of Client Information and uses such information only as necessary to perform contracted services, comply with applicable law, protect legal rights, or as otherwise authorized by the client.

International processing

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. If you access the website or services from outside the United States, please be advised that the laws of the United States and other applicable jurisdictions may not provide the same level of data protection as the laws in your country or jurisdiction. By accessing or using the website or services, you acknowledge and agree that your personal information and communications may be collected, transferred, processed, disclosed, and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, satisfy legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption and reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls and reputable cloud providers. No system is completely secure. We retain information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law, after which we delete it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard the information we hold.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be disclosed to service providers, when required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. Contact privacy@claxioai.com.

California privacy notice

If California privacy law applies to Claxio AI or to the processing of your personal information, California residents may have certain rights regarding their personal information. Claxio AI will honor applicable privacy rights requests as required by law.

California "Shine the Light" notice

California residents may request information regarding certain disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California Civil Code §1798.83. Claxio AI does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Additional California disclosures

No sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable California law.

Sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit its use under California law.

Automated decision-making. Although we may use AI tools to assist in providing consulting services, we do not use automated decision-making through this website to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.

Do Not Track. Because there is currently no universally accepted standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals, this website does not respond differently when such signals are received.

U.S. state privacy rights

In addition to California, residents of certain U.S. states may have privacy rights under applicable law, including but not limited to these states: Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Iowa, Indiana, Montana, Tennessee, Texas, Oregon, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nebraska, Minnesota, Maryland, Kentucky, and Rhode Island, as those laws become effective and apply.

Where applicable law provides these rights, individuals may have the ability to:

Claxio AI will honor applicable privacy rights requests to the extent required by the laws that apply to our business and the processing of your personal information.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for a business audience and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Responsible AI

Claxio AI is committed to responsible AI use, transparency, human oversight where appropriate, and protecting client confidentiality.

Business transfers

Personal information may transfer in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy, and your access to and use of the services, as well as any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to them, will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules or principles (whether of Georgia or any other jurisdiction) that would result in the application of the laws of any other jurisdiction. Any dispute between the parties that is not subject to arbitration or that cannot be heard in small claims court will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oconee County, Georgia, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

Severability

If any part of this Privacy Policy is deemed unlawful and/or unenforceable, all other provisions contained herein will remain in full force and effect.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Revised versions will be posted with updated effective date and last updated information. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy occasionally.
