Custom GPTs for Marketing & Content Operations
Three custom GPTs that turn hours of marketing work into minutes.
Problem
Tifosi’s marketing team was spending way too much time on three things that came up over and over: writing blogs and press releases, coming up with social post ideas and captions, and making Amazon ads. Most of the work was just remembering the brand voice, pulling whatever promo was running, and following the same basic writing patterns. Senior staff kept getting pulled in to help with junior tasks, and junior staff turned out copy that didn’t always sound right.
Approach
I built three custom GPTs, each one loaded with Tifosi’s brand voice, product info, and rules for that specific job:
Blog and press writer
Drafts long-form pieces in Tifosi’s voice with the usual structure built in (hook up top, product mentions, call to action at the end). The team uses it for first drafts and edits from there, instead of writing from scratch.
Social post ideator and caption writer
Comes up with post ideas that match whatever campaign is running, with captions ready to go in the brand’s voice. It doesn’t make the images, but it kills the blank-page problem for the social calendar.
Amazon and Trellis ad helper
Writes new ad copy and headlines, and reviews how existing ads are doing. It points out which keywords are worth scaling up and which creative isn’t pulling its weight anymore.
